Collecting FigurinesI started this collection in March 1997. So far I've gathered five angels from this series released by The Boyds Collection Ltd.:
Ron Jedlinski gave life to this collection in the early 1990's. At the tme, he was president of Roman's Inc., one of America's most reputable giftware companies. He became so inspired by the world's growing fascination with angels that he created a new division, Seraphin Studios™, to design an exclusive series of angels who reflected classic Renaissance paintings and sculptures. The result — a delicate line of resign angels with breathtaking features so real admirers, including me, are convinced they represent a bit of heaven on earth. Typical dealers include Hallmark frachisees, and independent finer giftstores around the world. Most of mine were purchased locally at Chezem's, what I considered to be Albuquerque's finest and friendliest giftstore for collectors. Unfortunately, the owners retired and closed Chezem's in 2000. I started my collection on Mother's Day in 1995 with the acqusition of Dawn, Sunshine's Guardian Angel. Each year a different series of angels is released. So far, I've managed to capture several angels for my own collection: Cymbeline... Peacemaker,
