Over the years I have volunteered my services to a wide variety of worth organizations and causes. I have joined numerous civic and professional organizations in an effort to increase my knowledge and expertise and more specifically to expand my sphere of influence.

  • Internet Industry
    • e-Business Communication Association (eBCA), the pre-eminent global membership organization supporting professionals charged with defining and driving e-business initiatives. (current member)
    • Electronic Frontier Foundation, a dynamic public policy organization committed to protecting civil liberties for online communicators and shaping the national infrastructure of the Information Superhighway.
      (former member; designated as Charter Member)
    • New Mexico Internet Professionals Association, a non-partisan, statewide association of professionals with interests in the Internet and Internet-related activities.
      (current member; former board member)
    • Albuquerque Web Women, A special interest group for Albuquerque area women working with and interested in the Internet. (current member)
    • E-Commerce Advisory Council for the Albuquerque TVI Community College (former member; instrumental in the formation of the council and served as council chairperson for its first two years)

    • National Federation of Press Women, a 60+ year-old organization of professional journalists and communicators. (former member)
    • New Mexico Press Association (member for three years; no longer a member)
    • New Mexico Press Women (member for three years; no longer a member)
    • Albuquerque Press Women (member for three years; no longer a member)
    • American Marketing Association - Member for three years; worked on membership committee for New Mexico Chapter. (former member)
  • Business Networking
    • National Association of Female Executives (NAFE), the largest women’s professional association and the largest women business owners’ organization in the United States. (current member)
    • Albuquerque Convention & Visitors Bureau, a leading tourism marketing organization and to achieve economic vitality and success through integrity, enthusiasm and creative involvement for the promotion of Albuquerque as a world-class destination.
      (active member for over 15 years; no longer a member but serve as member representative for clients upon request)
    • Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce - Served as an Ambassador for six years; responsible for introducing members and non-members to each other. Also worked on Ambassador Business After Hours committee which was responsible for coordinating monthly networking events and sales of member exhibit space at those events. (former member)
    • New Mexico Entrepreneurs Association - Member for three years; active on Membership Committee; produced membership directory. (former member)
