Adventures
With Barb
In 1991, I launched the "Adventures
With Barb" series on the Prodigy® Network. The primary purpose,
of course, was to keep my colleagues up to date with what was going
on in my daily life. Under that subject line, I not only discussed my
professional escapades but my personal adventures. The series quickly
became one of the most popular stops for members of the Prodigy small
business network and eventually garnered a following of over 200,000
readers. Along the way I managed to pick up some treasured friends who
have played one role or another in various adventures since.
Since we abandoned our presence on
Prodigy in 1995, I have tried to stay in touch with some of my friends
from those days via e-mail. I simply don't have time to look up
everyone I met online during that time, but if you are one of those
