Following are the software packages I
have purchased to help me with the administration of my business and my
independent work as a writer.
Word Processing
As far as I'm concerned this
MS suite of tools was one of my best discoveries in the past several
years. I was a hard core WordPerfect user until 1995 when I had to get
MS Word to qualify for a specific assignment. I became an Office product
fan within minutes and am so convinced it is the way to go, my company
has standardized on it. I insist that contractors working for me be

Accounting
For my accounting, I prefer
to use QuickBooks Pro
from Intuit. Support is available from the Web or their Faxback system
